More About Tamara Saulwick: Endings From On the Boards:
Poised in the delicate space between concert and theatre, Endings is a meditation on cycles and the ending of things. The ordinary and the extraordinary cluster around death, dying, and the afterlife. The manifestation of these moments take form through the use of portable turntables, reel-to-reel tape players and live performance. This hybrid work is built in part from one-on-one interviews; these stories, reflections, and voices are cut onto vinyl records and embedded within a richly textured electro-acoustic sound design that is extended through live singing. This performance features the songs and vocals of acclaimed singer/songwriter Paddy Mann (Grand Salvo).
General admission advance tickets are $23. Tickets purchased the week of the performance are $30. Get tickets online.
