Sacred Sensuality: Baroque Music, Beer & Wine
February 27, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm$15 – $20
From Taphouse Brewery:
17th century Italy saw a flourishing of music behind convent walls, where nuns composed, published, and performed sacred music that blended deep spirituality with richly sensual poetic and musical imagery. Sopranos Linda Tsatsanis and Brenna Wells join baroque ‘cellist Nathan Whittaker and organist Henry Lebedinsky for works by Chiara Margarita Cozzolani, Maria Peruchona, Isabella Leonarda, and more.
