“A brand-new confab of music, visual art, good beer and strange vibes”
— Jonathan Zwickel, City Arts
Featuring local psychedelic dream pop bands, supernatural lighting, and other aquatic encounters with the deep, Look Up Fest is a community-driven, artist-run, accessible event, where we invite attendees to join in a surreal suspension of disbelief.
LUFU WILL APPEAR AND DISAPPEAR IN ONE DAY @ FRED WILDLIFE REFUGE, A WATERY MIRAGE IN THE TURMOILED DESERT OF THE CITY.
Be warned that attendees to Look Up Fest may risk exposure to a radioactive amphibious creature known as the LUFU rumored to lurk these parts. If you are lucky enough to avoid attracting the creature you may float peacefully in the depths, bathed in undersea sonical realms. Anyone who loves The Abyss, Sphere, Stranger Things, Twin Peaks, X Files, UFO documentaries, missing time, mysterious forces, or other dark shadows should come for a swim at Look Up Fest.
FROM UNKNOWN WATERY DEPTHS, CREATURES OF THE DEEP ASCEND.
At LUFU, our second Look Up Fest, we will submerge ourselves into the bioluminescent darkness, only to rise over the course of 6 hours through sonic and visual experience, until we ascend into the light above the surface.
WE SHALL GIVE BACK TO THE WATER
For this event, we will be raise donations for Duwamish River Cleanup Coalition/TAG, a cause dedicated to addressing the impact of urban development on our local environment. To help support, donate to our raffle, which will feature awesome merch from all bands involved!
