Korean beauty fans rejoice! K Ba-Nana will open a Korean Beauty Pop-Up at University Village on Sunday, August 26, 2018 in the former Apple store location. Industry insiders and consumers alike are obsessed with Korean beauty and with good reason. These innovative global products have created a cult following by using the latest technology to make them at the forefront of the beauty world.
With coveted brands filling the shelves, the K Ba-Nana Pop Up will carry the latest K-beauty skincare and accessories. The assortment of products will feature K-beauty favorites such as sheet masks, nail polish, cosmetics, and skincare essentials. In addition to beauty, K Ba-Nana will also carry a curated mix of accessories including socks, hairpins, jewelry, and gifts. Featured brands include TPSY, Too Cool for School, Huxley, IPKN, Moart, and A’Pieu.
“I’ve always loved everything about Korean trends, especially all the fun, cute, beauty products,” explains founder Liz Kang Yates, “I’m excited about sharing a mix of Korean brands, some of which are being sold in the U.S. for the very first time, in a colorful and innovative environment.”
The store interior will feature bright colors, hand-painted murals, and custom fixtures designed by local artists and builders to highlight the unique mix of Korean beauty products. The colorful pop up store will feature modern interactive decor, including decorative photo walls and even boasts a Molly Moon vending machine that serves up Minimoon cups of ice cream. The pop-up will also serve as a community hub for creative collaborations and local lifestyle events.
