Francophiles rejoice! On April 11, 2018, the Seattle Flagship Nordstrom store will be one of the locations that will be the first to carry the cult favorite French brand Sézane. This is Sézane’s first U.S. retail partner and it will launch with the Spring collection in five stores and on Nordstrom.com.
Founded by Morgane Sézalory in 2013, Sézane has become a phenomenon in France for offering quintessential French style with luxury-level quality at uniquely accessible prices. Sézane is the first French brand that began as a solely online business and creates four seasonal collections and a unique monthly capsule collection that benefits a global reaching cause. The Spring collection, arriving in select stores and Nordstrom.com beginning April 11, includes more than 120 unique designs including French girl staples, such as beautifully cut button-down blouses, chic accessories and elevated denim. Prices range from $40- $365.

Sézane is known for their chic and original retail setup, which resembles a stylish Paris apartment. In 2015, Sézalory debuted L’appartement, a 3,000 square foot store on rue Saint-Fiacre inspired by her own living quarters. In addition to ready-to-wear, the boutique also showcases accessories, homeware and stationery. In the last year, L’appartement has expanded to include a café next door called la librairie, which houses Sézane bags and favorite books, and a dedicated outpost for online pick-ups and returns around the corner called la conciergerie. The Nordstrom spaces will mirror this concept as well, with a chic Parisian apartment set up in a shop within a store.
“We are so happy to continue our U.S. expansion with Nordstrom,” said Sézalory, “It’s exciting for the collection to be available in five new cities allowing more women to discover our brand and get to know Sézane. It was very important for me to give shoppers a way to understand and experience the collection in-person.”
