Get Out: Bach and Pancakes Sunday Morning Concert Series at Studio Current

Musician Erin Jorgensen puts together an unlikely but utterly delightful combination on select Sunday mornings each month through May. Bach and Pancakes invites guests to get comfy at artist-run space Studio Current, eat pancakes, and relax as Jorgensen plays works by J.S. Bach adapted for her instrument of choice: the marimba.

What music lover doesn’t love Bach? Not the sort you’d want to spend a Sunday morning with, that’s for sure.

The casual environment, comfort food and soothing sounds of the marimba are a rather ideal treatment for hangovers. Better still: No one will judge if you are doing the walk of shame, either. The music starts at 11am followed by the pancake breakfast. Guest of all ages are welcome. Note: Studio Current is not wheelchair accessible.

Admission: $5-$10 suggested donation. at Studio Current (1100 E Pike Street. Entrance is on 11th Ave, beneath Annex Theatre).
