Musician Erin Jorgensen puts together an unlikely but utterly delightful combination on select Sunday mornings each month through May. Bach and Pancakes invites guests to get comfy at artist-run space Studio Current, eat pancakes, and relax as Jorgensen plays works by J.S. Bach adapted for her instrument of choice: the marimba.

What music lover doesn’t love Bach? Not the sort you’d want to spend a Sunday morning with, that’s for sure.

The casual environment, comfort food and soothing sounds of the marimba are a rather ideal treatment for hangovers. Better still: No one will judge if you are doing the walk of shame, either. The music starts at 11am followed by the pancake breakfast. Guest of all ages are welcome. Note: Studio Current is not wheelchair accessible.
