Finding great menswear in Seattle has presented challenges in the past, but no longer. A recent, welcome addition to Seattle’s growing range of menswear boutiques is SHARPLY, which opened its doors over the summer on Pike Street in Capitol Hill.

The Seattle-based company began online as a lifestyle brand with a line of private label knits. Its primary goal: Help men look good with ease. SHARPLY’s shop then began adding carefully chosen brands that meet its ethos. After testing the waters in Seattle with a Pop-Up in University Village, founders Joe Blattner and Molly Kuffner decided to launch their first brick-and-mortar.

The Capitol Hill shop has blended SHARPLY’s laid-back style with the neighborhood’s eclectic vibe. It features local artists on their walls as a participant of Capitol Art Walk on second Thursdays each month. SHARPLY’s commitment to helping men look good and feel good translates well in its inviting space.

Premium denim, button-down shirts and super soft knits and graphic tees anchor the store’s focus on great fitting and timeless essentials. The denim has a modern cut and universally flattering fit, without being super skinny. The work-wear khakis and stretch twills by Bill’s Khakis are a polished alternative to denim. The plaids are appropriate for work or weekend wear, and the super soft henleys and graphic tees might easily become favorites that make for one happy closet.

In addition to clothing, the store carries accessories, such as Filson carry-on duffel bags, Miansai leather goods and uber-cool Randolph Engineering shades. The six pack of reading glasses is genius, because, really, who can ever find that one pair? And SHARPLY’s rope bracelets and accessories are right on point with everything else: unfussy, with understated cool.

For a guy on the go, this is a great one-stop shop in the heart of Seattle.
