Beginning this Friday, February 10, Seattle Repertory Theatre presents Wella play that its author, Lisa Kron states “is not about my mother and me.” We’ll see about that.

Braden Abraham directs the production. The beloved Seattle rep actor Barbara Dirickson stars, along with Seattle luminary Sarah Rudinoff. From Seattle Rep:

Well is dark comedy at its finest. Lisa Kron, the multi-talented humorist, performer, playwright, and Tony Award-winning writer and lyricist behind the recent Broadway hit Fun Home takes us on a hilarious, self-referential journey that explores everything from chronic allergies, to community organizing, and most importantly, to her zany, unpredictable relationship with her mother.

Well by Lisa Kron

When: February 10-March 5

Where: Bagley Wright Theatre in Seattle Center (155 Mercer St)
