Arvo Pärt is one of the most lauded composers living today. His meditative, minimalist music spans epochs, sounding at turns primeval and ultra-modern. It can sound great in huge halls, but it is really best enjoyed in more intimate settings—such as On the Boards!

This Sunday, February 12, soak in the sounds of five of Pärt’s works, including his much beloved Für Alina and Spiegel im Spiegel. The performers will be Brooks Tran on piano, Luke Fitzpatrick on violin and Rose Bellini on cello. The full program is as follows:

  1. Fratres
  2. Für Alina
  3. Spiegel im Spiegel
  4. Variationen zur Gesundung von Arinuschka
  5. Mozart-Adagio

It’s hard to picture a more perfect and calming way to enter a new week. Limited seating is available, so if you are interested, don’t delay.
