Local dance troupe Whim W’him premieres three new pieces from three choreographers this week at SENSATION, January 20-28. Whim W’him founder Olivier Wevers offers his 21st choreographed work for the company since it was established in 2009. His piece will be preceded by a new creations from Larry Keigwin (Keigwin + Company, NYC) and Penny Saunders (Hubbard Street Dance, Chicago).
Whim W’him has fast become one of Seattle’s most successful contemporary dance companies. Founded with the vision of uniting more avant-garde contemporary movement with traditional ballet, Whim W’him’s aesthetic core is provocative yet accessible.
