January can be a tough, dreary month to face after all the holiday season’s festivities, but The London Plane has a way to brighten your day. The London Plane Flower Shop has announced a new series of floral arranging classes that will teach you how to beautify your home, no matter the season. The Pioneer Square store, known for unique blooms and fabulous food, begins its winter floral design series mid-January.

To accommodate all schedules, evening and daytime classes are available. Daytime classes are from noon to 2 pm, and evening classes are from 5:30-7:30 pm.

On January 19, “Winter Whites” will be offered to teach attendees how to work with fresh whites and greens. (Perfect timing for the release of Pantone’s color of 2017, Greenery.) The January 31 classes, “Desert Blooms” offer a unique take on floral design by using of succulents and cacti. Each class is $150 and includes materials for your take-home arrangement. Space is limited to 24 per class.

Learn how professional floral designs incorporate the elements of line, form, space, texture and color. More importantly, learn how to channel your own creative style into something beautiful for your living environment. The lush greens of London Plane’s floral arrangement classes are a great way to beat the winter blues. Click here for more information and sign up for a class.
