The holidays have arrived! Your family is in town, it’s cold and we all need a little art and culture in our lives. This Tuesday, Book-It Repertory Theatre continues their season with Treasure Island, which runs through the holiday season. On Wednesday, skip the traditional bar scene and head to Central Cinema instead for their Moviecat: Movie Trivia Night. You’re going to want to get moving before an evening of sitting around with the family on Thursday, so why not start the day with the Seattle Turkey Trot. This Friday marks the start of the Langston Hughes African American Film Festival, which runs through Sunday. On Saturday, The Showbox will host singer-songwriter James Vincent McMorrow. Finally, end your week with some comedy at the Seattle International Comedy Competition’s Final Night. Let’s Get Out!
