Beginning this Thursday, November 10-17, SIFF will present the eighth annual Cinema Italian Style festival. The festival lineup includes the best contemporary films that Italy’s filmmakers have to offer.

The festival kicks off with an opening night party in the Penthouse at Hotel Sorrento. This will immediately follow the screening of the festival’s first film, Like Crazy (2016). Directed by Paolo Virizi, the film tells the comedic story of two women on the run from a psychiatric clinic, and the friendship (and antics) that ensues.

Other notable films include the new 4K restoration of the 1977 classic A Special Day starring Sofia Loren on November 12. On November 13, Chateau Ste Michelle Winery will present a special wine tasting event prior to a screening of Laura Morente’s film Solo. Monday, November 14’s screening of Indivisible will see the film’s director Eduardo De Angelis in attendance, and the hits keep coming from there.

The festival closes on Thursday, November 17 with a screening of Opposites Attract with director Max Croci in attendance. Finally, stay for the closing night party at Il Fornaio.
