KEXP, Starbucks and STG have joined forces to present Little Big Show, a concert series to benefit local arts organizations. The series consist of little shows with big effects. Plus, 100% of ticket sales from each show will be donated to a local non-profit. Since its beginnings in 2012, the series has collectively raised more than $200,000.
This Sunday, November 13, marks the 16th installment of Little Big Show at the Neptune Theatre to benefit Youth In Focus. Each of the three artists will be reason enough to venture out on a Sunday night, so experiencing them all in one show will be nothing short of magical. Openers Aquilo and local duo NAVVI each bring their own twist on electro-pop with varying degrees haunting melodies and intense, emotional vocals. Headliner Låpsley has garnered comparisons to fellow Brit Adele, but her production talents have soared her into a category of her own as a talented electronic artist and producer. Her synth-pop is grounded by her full, rich, soulful voice, hammering down the theme of the night: unashamed emotional pop.
