Presented in association with Live Nation and entertainment platform Tidal, Ms. Lauryn Hill presents The MLH Caravan: A Diaspora Calling at McCaw Hall this Sunday, November 6. The much anticipated concert series follows her hosting of the inaugural Diaspora Calling!, a 3-day music and arts festival that took place at the historic King’s Theatre in Brooklyn.  The caravan has allowed Ms. Hill to carry the sentiments of that festival around North America, Paris and Tokyo.

She has expressed deep care and appreciation for what this concert series has to offer in her words below:

“The MLH Caravan allows me to continue the theme of unity and celebration of the many facets of cultural and artistic beauty throughout the African diaspora while on tour this summer and fall. In these days of tension, tumult and transition, an exchange of this kind can yield direction, expression, understanding and empowerment as well as connection, self love and appreciation that hopefully overflows into our respective communities.”

Each show includes special guest performances by artists across the African diaspora. On Sunday, Ms. Hill will be joined by Seun Kuti, a Nigerian artist who has thoughtfully woven the traditions of various African traditions into his music in order to reflect the struggles and cultures of the continent. Tickets are moving fast so grab one while you still can.
