Seattle Symphony continues its 2016 Beethoven Program with Symphony No. 2 and Piano Concerto No. 3 this week. For the concerto, renowned pianist Inon Barnatan will accompany the orchestra, conducted by Ludovic Morlot. The night opens with a new work by composer and soprano Agata Zubel, In the Shade of an Unshed Tear. (Zubel will also perform one of her works on October 28 for the symphony’s [Untitled] 1 performance.)

A pre-concert talk will be presented 1 hour prior to each performance in the S. Mark Taper Foundation Auditorium. On Saturday, October 29, there will also be an Ask the Artist discussion after the concert. These events are free with ticket purchase.
