This Wednesday, October 12, SAM Gallery opens its new group show Frocks & Vestments. It is timed to coincide with the opening of Seattle Art Museum‘s big new show, YSL: The Perfection of Style. Featured artists include Larry Calkins, Elizabeth Jameson, Christopher Kroehler and Liz Tran.
“From royalty to everyday people, what we wear defines who we are in the minds of ourselves and other people,” says SAM. “The featured artists in this show present work based on garments, frocks, costumes, and vestments.”
Seattle Art Museum will host an opening reception on Thursday, October 13 from 6-7:30pm. The show will remain on display through November 3.
