Cold War Kids is making a stop in Seattle this Friday, October 14 at Showbox SoDo in support of their new album. The band consists of Nathan Willett, Matt Maust, Matt Schwartz, Joe Plummer and David Quon.
Throughout their 12-year career and 5 studio albums, Cold War Kids has remained sincere and polished. Since their humble beginnings in 2004, the soul-inspired indie rock band continues to make honest songs about the human experience. Two years have passed since their last record, Hold My Home, but Cold War Kids is hard at work on their long-awaited follow up. The new album promises fresh, singular and ambitious material for their listeners. However, fans don’t have to wait until their next release to experience the Los Angeles five-piece, as they are currently in the midst of a fall headline tour.
Additionally, the group will be joined by The Strumbellas and their haunting lyrics, making for an emotionally stirring start to the weekend.
