Local Sightings Film Festival, September 22-October 1

The 19th edition of the Local Sightings Film Festival is bursting at the seams as it readies for viewing. Presented by Northwest Film Forum, the festival includes 16 feature films and 78 shorts, plus special events, workshops and presentations.

This year’s festival has expanded to 10 days of local films. Local Sightings has heralded many new Northwest film talents, including Genius award winner Zach Weintraub and Filmmaker Magazine‘s “25 Faces To Watch” honoree Nandan Rao.

Opening night kicks off on Thursday, September 22 with a game show: The Future is Zero: Local Sightings Edition. Three contestants will compete against each other in a series of mental, physical and psychological challenges designed to delight the audience. Come be part of a live studio audience with plenty of surprises, cameos, and spectacles you won’t soon forget!
