Breakout artist Jack Garratt will grace The Showbox with his bold blend of soul, electronica and rock on Sunday, September 25. The one-man band keeps the rhythm going on his right with a drum pad, lacing the beat with soulful keyboards to his left, all with a guitar around his neck. His goosebump-inducing vocals range from growls to tender falsettos, perfectly blending his voice with his genre-bending sounds. He is an endearing performer, keeping the show going between songs with his humor and humble charm.

Garratt will be joined by the Brooklyn-based duo, Brasstracks. Self-described as future-brass, Conor Rayne (drums) and Ivan Jackson (trumpet) incorporate their musical training from conservatories into accessible, uplifting sounds, adding an interesting, non-comprising layer to the electronic genre. The pair fills their set with renditions of popular songs like “Four Five Seconds” as well as energetic, infectious songs of their own. Sunday night will be nothing short of captivating.
