Raven-haired singer-songwriter, Eliza Rickman will make her way to The Triple Door on Sunday, September 18. Laid over a toy piano and other subtle instruments, her spellbinding voice remains dominant. This unique use of minimalist sounds bring an irresistible, whimsical quality to her music. Her charming persona and style make her a joy to listen to and watch.
Loudon Wainwright III
Rickman will open the night up for Grammy Award wining singer-songwriter Loudon Wainwright III. Since the beginning of his career in the late ‘60s, Wainwright has been praised for his descriptive lyrics and wit. Over the years he has reached new listeners through his soundtrack work. Along with assisting behind the scenes, he has experience in front of the camera, appearing on Parks and Recreation, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, and Knocked Up (which he also did the soundtrack for). Still, he remains the most comfortable with a guitar and a pen, sharing his dry humor through music.
Rickman and Wainwright are definitely two talents to witness in person.
