Lit Fix organizers describe their quarterly event as the city’s “dive-friendliest reading and music series.” Lit Fix 15: The Cooling goes down this Wednesday, September 14 from 7-9pm.

The featured talent includes writers and musicians Claudia Castro Luna, Joshua Mohr, Sonya Vatomsky, Kristi Coulter and Wes Weddel. From Lit Fix:

Lit Fix is a quarterly reading and music series in Seattle. Founder Mia Lipman migrated north from the Bay Area, where you can wander into dive bars most every night and catch authors onstage with local bands. She’s very happy to have found just as much writer-musician symbiosis in her new hometown. This city loves books, bands, and microbrews—bar readings with a live soundtrack were inevitable. Lit Fix is proud to be part of our creative community, and to give back to it: proceeds from all events are donated to organizations that promote literacy. We look forward to celebrating our third birthday in spring 2016.
