While summer in Seattle is glorious, when those cooler mornings and hints of autumn arrive, you know a new season is on its way. The beginnings of fall mean the start of the seaon’s party fever, with invitations to soirees that require a change from summer’s casual vibe. From dinner parties to auction season, fall’s gorgeous textures and pieces will make you want to throw your own party. Here are four looks to wear out and be a stand out, no matter where you are headed.

Party Fever: Fall Soirees and Celebrations

The It Girl

Pleats are big for fall. French brand Maje does it right with this Jonael pleated ombré midi skirt. Pair it with a J.Crew Jackie Cardigan in leopard to wear underneath one of this season’s embroidered bomber jackets. This Free People Bomber has silk and velvet panels and incredible floral embroidery detail. It’s a stand out item. The It bag to have is the J.W.Anderson Pierce Bag with its distinctive gold circular barbell piercing and edgy studs. Aquazzura seems to be winning the shoe game these days, most duly noted with the Alix Velvet Pumps in Ruby Red. Wear them with a pair of Wolford’s luxurious Netsation Ankle Socks and top it off with Gucci’s gorgeous Wool Beret.

Culture Club

Being dressed up for a cultural event doesn’t mean you have to be boring in your attire. This Ted Baker dress takes fall’s ballet trend to perfect heights with its tutu style skirt and scalloped detailing. Add a gorgeous pair of high heel mules, like these Roger Vivier Rosette Suede Pumps. Play off the heel’s pink rosettes with a pair of Tuleste Marabou Pom Earrings as your single standout jewelry. This incredible Prada bag compliments the scalloping in the dress with its Nappa leather and Plexiglas sequins. Top your look off with a Marissa Webb Ivette ruffled leather jacket over your ladylike dress to give it a bit of edge.

Party Fever 3

Shining Star

This star studded look is cool because of its common thread, the star motif, making it stand out. The No. 21 Organza Lace Mini Dress has a 60s vibe to it, so pair it with a pair of round toed shoes. These Valentino Star-Studded Ankle Strap Pumps make a gorgeous statement on their own and are awesome with the dress. Add a cheeky Edie Parker Star Velvet Clutch to give just one more shining star to your attire. To capture the essence of the look, wear the plaid Zara coat with pink faux fur, and keep jewelry to a minimum by wearing a stand out cocktail ring from J.Crew .

Party Fever #4

Best In Show

Rosie Assoulin never disappoints with her standout pieces that are both minimalist and refreshing in their originality. Furthermore, no one wearing red goes unnoticed. This Rosie Assoulin off-the-shoulder silk-faille top in brilliant red will guarantee you more than a few turned heads. The long, lean look of the Solace London Denim Kriece Pencil Skirt works well with this dressy top. Gucci is full of fabulous standout pieces as well: these Marmont Pumps are certainly one of the best of fall’s shoes. Elizabeth and James Finley Crocodile Embossed Bag, with a fur strap, is uber cool and you can tuck your Gucci covered iPhone inside. Simple yellow stud earrings let the noteworthy clothes do the talking.

No matter what kind of event you are headed to this fall, elevate your style game with some stand out trends. Whether you embrace the ballet look, pleats, velvet or embroidery, it’s all in the details when it comes to getting ready for fall’s party fever.
