The prolific, Philadelphia-based artist/activist/musician Moor Mother (AKA Camae Ayewa) brings her complex, seamless mix of punk, rap, blues, et al to Seattle on Sunday, September 11. Event promoter Elevator will be staging the night of music and poetic performance at Machine House Brewery. Moor Mother’s set will be preceded by Seattle-based musical acts Slow Drips and Prius and a poetry reading by Jenny Zhang. Visuals will be provided by Anissa Amalia.
