August is finally drawing to a close, which means the end of one era and the beginning of a whole new deal. On Tuesday, get your dance on with Dancing til Dusk at their Fundraiser Celebration and Ball Blanc at Belltown Community Center. If you’re in the mood for some theatre, Wednesday marks the last week to see REBATEnsemble Theatre Group‘s presentation of William Shakespeare’s The Tempest in Volunteer Park. First Thursday Art Walk‘s many attractions include two new exhibitions at SOIL Gallery: Intimately Unseen and Studio Visit, featuring the work by Ellen Ziegler. And THEN. Finally, finally, BUMBERSHOOT 2016 will descend on Seattle Center all weekend long, starting this Friday through Sunday, September 4. If you’re looking for a free alternative, check out the Americana Festival at Waterfront Park on Saturday. Lastly, end the week on Sunday with a farewell to remember at legendary performer Ruby Bishop’s Retirement Party at Vito’s Seattle. It’s not too late to soak up those last rays of summer. Labor Day Weekend is upon us: Time to Get Out, Seattle!
