It’s hard to believe, but Fashion Week at the Bellevue Collection is a mere month away. This year, Fashion Week kicks off with a wine and men’s fashion event called Sips & Suits at Bellevue Square. It includes favorites like The Independent Designer Runway Show, Posh Party Trend Show and of course, the Front Row Fashion Show Presented by Vogue. There are plenty of complimentary beauty and fashion events going on all week long, so make sure to purchase your tickets and mark your calendar for a week full of fashion and style.

Sips & Suits

Sips & Suits, a new event this year, will launch the 2016 Fashion Week festivities. The event kicks off September 21 at 6pm in Bellevue Square. Partnering with the Woodinville Wine Country and Seattle Uncorked, attendees can watch informal modeling of mens fall fashion, and enjoy tastings by 25+ local wine makers as they tour Bellevue Square’s participating stores. VIP ticket holders get access to an exclusive lounge highlighting men’s styling, and spirits will be also be served in the lounge. Other highlights will include tasty bites from Ruth’s Chris and Tavern Hall, the new hit Insane Sundaes from Vivo 53, tech gadgets from the Microsoft Store, retro video games and a swag bag.

Independent Designer Runway Show

This year’s Independent Designer Runway Show launches Thursday, September 22 at 7:10pm in the Hyatt Regency Bellevue. Now in its fifth year, IDRS highlights the collections of nine local up-and-coming fashion designers as the culmination of a months-long mentorship program. The designers compete for a $5,000 cash prize to help with their clothing line. They will also have a look from their collection on display in a Fashion Frame at Bellevue Square. The designers featured in this year’s IDRS are: Chris Jones Like a Rock Star, Devon Yan Devonation, Elma Miza man.tis, Gina Moorhead Gina Marie, Julie Danforth Julie Danforth, Lindsay Moen Dollstreet, Milena, Natanov Valentina & Valentia, Oscar Milano Mai Milano MAI, and Shalom Aburu Aburu Fashion House.

Posh Party Trend Show

On Friday, September 23 at 6:30pm in the Hyatt Regency Bellevue, don’t miss the Posh Party Trend Show. Attendees can expect a stylish evening of must-have trends hosted by lifestyle specialist Monica Hart. The evening highlights the looks straight from The Fall 2016 Look Book that are available at stores in the Bellevue Collection. The festivities include a high-energy runway show and interactive beauty stations to sample the season’s hair and make-up trends. As a bonus, guests can partake of hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and a swag bag. Tickets benefit Bellevue LifeSpring.

Fashion Forecast

Fashion Forecast goes down on Saturday, September 24 at 1pm at Bellevue Square Center CourtVogue Market Stylist Cara Crowley will talk Fall 2016 trends and how to make them accessible to any lifestyle. Front Row Fashion Show Presented by Vogue

Vogue’s premier runway show, Front Row Fashion Runway Show Presented by Vogue takes place on Saturday, September 24 at 6:30pm at Hyatt Regency Bellevue. The event showcases the top fall trends straight from the pages of the magazine to the runway. Hosted by Vogue Market Stylist Cara Crowley, this high style runway show features all the best trends, designers and looks for Fall 2016. Tickets benefit Seattle Children’s Hospital.
