Chillography is the best chill-out celebration the PNW has to offer, and it’s one of my favorite summer events here in Seattle. This year’s festivities go down on Seattle’s Waterfront at Myrtle Edwards Park, this Sunday, August 7, starting at 2pm.
When we have warm summer breezes and stunning sunsets, it can only mean we are chilling in Seattle. There is no better place for “maxin’ and relaxin'” than on Seattle’s waterfront with the mellow vibes of Chillography. The show caters to the mellower side of electronica, like the way waves engulf a sand castle. The cool sounding breeze, green grass, sparkling water with exquisite music—just imagine it.
There is no better way to spend a summer Sunday picnicking with friends, family and kids. Come play with hula hoops and frisbees, do yoga or just recharge for the end of summer on this “blissful day on a grassy hill,“ over looking Elliot Bay, Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. This year, the festivities will go an hour later to present a special Chillography Afterdark set that is sure to get your feet moving after a full day of soaking it all in.
This year’s lineup includes Michael Manahan, Boreal Tiaga, Eckoe, DJ Care, DJ Lara, Dane Garfield Wilson, Hendrik and Julian O’Keefe. Come enjoy the amazing summer event. I know I’ll be there.
