Seattle summer is in full swing, and that means the city is spilling over with festivals, music and dancing. On Saturday, July 30, Hoodstock (founded by Seattle punk band NighTraiN) returns for its ninth year. From 3-9:30pm, MLKy Way House will be brimming with good music, good eats and a good time.

Featuring two DJs, 11 bands and a beer garden, Hoodstock falls somewhere between a music festival and a massive house party. This year’s event will feature Riz Rollins, Blake Madden, Whitney Mongé, The Fabulous Downey Brothers, Gibraltar, Mother of Pearl, Breaks & Swells, Season of Strangers, Trick Candles, Tobias the Owl, The Black Chevys, Tres Leches, Dearly Departed and Smith & Whitaker w/Jones. With a diverse lineup like this, you can expect a little something for everyone.

If you’re still on the fence about whether to attend Hoodstock, this spirited preview may change your mind. (And the video doesn’t lie. Finding the actual address to MLKy Way House on the internet is no easy feat…)
