The dog days of summer have just begun, and Dog Night at Olympic Sculpture Park is the perfect way for canine lovers to celebrate the warm weather. Woofs are always allowed at the park, but on Thursday, July 21, Seattle Art Museum‘s ongoing summer series, Summer at SAM (Thursdays and Saturdays), makes it extra special.

Dog Night offers activities for you and your dog, including a musical performance by Ephrata (no really, click that link for a sudden and shocking change of tone), a chance to make your own denim dog toys, a tour led by local artist Allison Kudla, and so much more! Seattle’s community-based, child literacy project Reading with Rover will also be present, allowing kids to practice reading aloud to dogs, doodle in coloring books or cuddle up with the family pooch and a good book. Finally, they’ll be plenty of food trucks on hand for man and beast alike, with hilariously named vendors such as nosh, Biscuit Box and Bow Wow Chow.

Check the Summer at SAM website for a complete schedule of this free, all ages event. Woof.
