This year, Capitol Hill Pride is kicking up their PrideFest presence to infinity with a Saturday party to remember, beginning around noon at Capitol Hill Sound Transit Station and Denny Festival Street. 2016’s event will feature local and national talent, including (but not limited to): Mario Diaz & the BFD Crew with DJ James Cerne, Lady Bunny and Adra Boo, plus more DJs, drag queens and food trucks, all of it hosted by Mark Finley.
Couples (or singles!) with kids might want to check out Family Pride, a free event beginning at 1pm in Cal Anderson Park (1635 11th Ave). Fun for all ages, Family Pride features drag queen story time and plenty of other kid activities and entertainments. Stick around for Queer Youth Pride, starting immediately after at 4pm, with spoken word, queer youth performers, educational activities, a chance for kids to share their stories and more.
Last but not least, the Seattle Dyke March will rally at Seattle Central College (1701 Broadway) from 5-7pm, with a 7pm march that finishes back at Cal Anderson Park by 8.
Hope to see you there, Seattle!
