This Thursday, June 16, the Frye Art Museum will host The Films of Kahlil Joseph. From the Frye’s website:

This series, conceived of by Kahlil Joseph, highlights the films and filmmakers of whom Joseph is proudest, and with whom he has worked very closely. Joseph’s most popular works have been music videos for artists such as FKA Twigs, Flying Lotus and Shabazz Palaces. Many who follow Joseph have only experienced his work on a computer screen or a handheld device. It has always been Kahlil’s desire to show his films on the big screen as he originally conceived them. We are very proud to offer two screenings featuring the films of Kahlil Joseph and Martine Syms, on the big screen in complement to the engaging sensory experience of Young Blood: Noah Davis, Kahlil Joseph, The Underground Museum.

The program is as follows:

Feature film: Reflektor Tapes

INTERMISSION

m.A.A.D.
Seu Jorge, The Model – Chapter 1: Marcelo in Limbo
Seu Jorge, The Model – Chapter 2: Oshun and the Dream
