Seattle is abuzz this week with every kind of activity under the sun. On Tuesday and Wednesday, fans of smooth jazz can check out The Bad Plus at Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley, while Wednesday brings the highly anticipated reunion of alt rock legends At The Drive In. Thursday and Friday, we’ve got two days of collaborative art, with Milk, Milk Lemonade doing it up in Capitol Hill at the Calypte Gallery on Thursday, followed by The Collagemonauts graphic novel release party at the Kaleidoscopic Gallery in Greenwood. Did you forget about Father’s Day coming up? Worry not, because Filson Sportsman’s Expo on Saturday has your Dad needs covered. Finally, movie lovers out there can take part in a whole weekend’s worth of SIFF events, concluding on Sunday night with the Closing Gala and screening of The Dressmaker at Seattle’s historic Cinerama theater. The days are getting longer, the nights are shorter, and it’s time to Get Out! Seattle.
