The vocal stylings of some of our region’s finest choral composers makes the perfect antidote for a world gone mad, even if only for one evening. On Saturday, May 21 at St. Mark’s Cathedral, check out Opus 7 Vocal Ensemble‘s presentation All Northwest, which includes Opus 7’s Composer-in-Residence John Muehleisen, and Opus 7’s Student Choral Composition Awards Program winners. According to event organizers:

“Celebrate spring and the last concert of our 2015/16 season with our annual “All Northwest” concert. The Pacific Northwest region is known internationally for its excellent professional and semi-professional choirs such as Opus 7 Vocal Ensemble. Opus 7 has attracted and commissioned new works from a very rich field of Northwest composers, including the young and talented winners of our annual Student Choral Composition Awards Program. This concert offers an exciting potpourri of repertoire, performed in the dynamic space of St. Mark’s Cathedral. Please join us for an offering of musical beauty that you won’t soon forget.”

Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.
