Fresh Dressed Jam at MOHAI, April 30

On Saturday April 30, MOHAI will celebrate the last weekend of their exhibit, The Legacy of Seattle Hip-Hop, with a farewell blowout, Fresh Dressed Jam. The party will include a high energy fashion show, from Hip-Hop’s roots to the newest trends, as well as one last opportunity to journey through the exhibit. In the spirit of the theme, you can be sure that the Fresh Dressed Jam’s guest list will range from Hip-Hop lovers to Seattle fashion stylists, designers, dancers, graffiti artists and music industry royalty. The party will be hosted by DJ Nasty-Nes and The Shockmaster Glen Boyd with beats by DJ Supreme La Rock and performances by KUTT ’N’ UP, DoNormal and other special guests. If anything, come by to get a last look at this historic exhibit before it closes, and dance the night away while you’re at it. About the exhibit: Curated by Seattle natives Jazmyn Scott (The Town Entertainment) and Aaron Walker-Loud (Big World Breaks), this interactive exhibit will immerse visitors in the sights and sounds of our region’s growing Hip-Hop culture through audio recordings, photography, artwork, artifacts, and more.
