Fremont boutique Show Pony presents a new collection of hand-dyed kimonos for Spring/Summer 2016 designed by Rian Robison of Tuesday. The month-long pop-up shop opens this Friday March 18, and will feature kimonos in ten distinct patterns and colors.

From the press release:

Inspired by a recent trip to Paris and a love for Japanese textiles, owner and designer Rian Robison has spent the last year and a half researching, experimenting and developing the original dye techniques featured in her new line. Whether painting with algae-thickened dye directly on the fabric or working in small batches to perfectly control color gradients, each piece is created from scratch at her studio and storefront located in the International District in Seattle, Washington.

Show Pony will be hosting a launch celebration on Friday from 6-9pm, coinciding with Tuesday’s new website debut. Hop over to Fremont for discounts on the special 10-piece collection and unique sample sale kimonos during the opening event.
