Seattle Fringe Festival, March 3-5

On March 3-5, independent theatre mavens will take center stage as Seattle Fringe Festival enters its second and final weekend. Held at multiple venues across town, the festival highlights local live theatre performers and producers, and the festival puts on a total of 22 plays over the course of two weekends. Make your way to Annex Theatre, Eclectic Theater, or the three spaces at Theatre Puget Sound in the Seattle Center Armory to check out one of the many featured works this Thursday, Friday and Saturday. From the website: The Seattle Fringe Festival (SFF) serves a diverse community of artists and audiences. SFF’s mission is to invigorate passion for the performing arts throughout the Pacific Northwest impacting audiences, individual participant artists or companies, as well as the fringe theatre, contemporary theatre and performance communities at large. SFF creates new opportunities for inexpensive self-production; provides a platform for individual and groups of performing artists to develop audiences for their work; and raises the profile of fringe arts in the greater community.
