Legendary violinist Itzhak Perlman will grace the stage of Benaroya Hall this Monday, February 29. Though the performance will not include the Seattle Symphony, Perlman (accompanied by premiere collaborative pianist Rohan De Silva) is sure to deliver an exceptional concert. The program includes a string of violin sonatas, proceeding (almost) chronologically from French classical composer Jean-Marie Leclair to Brahms’ Scherzo from the collaborative Sonatensatz in C minor. The program will conclude with Beethoven’s “Spring” Sonata and Ravel’s jazz and blues-inspired Sonata for Violin and Piano No. 2 in G major.

Tickets are available online at the Seattle Symphony’s website.
