On Sunday February 28, Capitol Hill’s Sole Repair will host the first of four Seattle Makers Markets, an exposé for local artists to display and sell their work. This is a great opportunity to support small business owners and check out locally made goods, including handmade jewelry, photography and painting, leather goods, apothecary and graphic design. Here is just a taste of some of the talented artists that you’ll see at this month’s market:

McCarthy Jewelry Designs

Michelle McCarthy is the founder of Seattle Makers Market. She is a Pacific Northwest jewelry designer who uses metalwork and semi-precious stones and metal to create simple yet intricate pieces of jewelry inspired by nature.

House of Wolves is a low-volume independent design and production house based out of Seattle. They produce premium quality leather goods that are made by hand one at a time. All of the products, including cuffs, belts and bags, are designed and produced by Shanine Yngvason.
