The 2016 Seattle Asian American Film Festival (SAAFF) takes place this weekend, Friday, February 19 through Sunday, February 21 at Northwest Film Forum.

Among the feature length films, the one I am most excited by is Advantageous, director Jennifer Phang‘s speculative sci-fi flick, which picked up a jury award (Collaborative Vision) at Sundance. Other feature films include documentaries (Don’t Think I’ve Forgotten: Cambodia’s Lost Rock and Roll and competitive ping-pong flick Top Spin) and dramatic narratives (The Purple Onion and For Here or To Go?, which you may have caught at the Seattle South Asian Film Festival last October).

Check out the website for the full list of films, festival passes ($75) and individual tickets.
