Craft & Culture, the Seattle-based online store that features international independent designers in apparel, jewelry and accessories, is celebrating its fifth anniversary in conjunction with the Grand Opening Party of Capitol Hill’s Standard Goods. Standard Goods, a lifestyle boutique with a selection of American-made clothing and home goods, opened in November but has been waiting to celebrate their opening until after the holiday season. The weekend festivities will be well worth the wait: art, music, drinks and a stellar sale all weekend long from both businesses.
The festivities begin Friday January 29 at 7 PM, with drinks, a photo installation by Lauren Rodriguez and a musical performance by Maiah Manser. (Speaking of Manser, check out Vanguard Seattle editor T.s. Flock’s conversation with the musician here.) Over the weekend, Standard Goods will host the Craft & Culture Anniversary Pop-Up Shop with sale items from both stores. Following the Pop-Up this weekend, select items from Craft and Culture will also be available at Standard Goods. Craft and Culture’s commitment to carrying goods from emerging designers and Standard Goods’ thoughtfully procured unique products make them the perfect partners for an epic retail party. Get out and check it out.
