January is a big month for wedding planning. It is typically the beginning of wedding shows and events to help happy couples find venues, themes, cakes, dresses and all the details that make up a wedding day. The annual Seattle Wedding Show is coming up this weekend, Saturday, January 17 and Sunday, January 18 at the Washington State Convention Center. But what if you want to celebrate off the beaten path or are looking for a more unique way to tie the knot?
The LOVESICK Wedding Expo 2016, sponsored by Offbeat Bride, caters to those who are interested in alternative ways to plan a wedding or ceremony. This Expo, held on Sunday, January 24, presents unique vendors and ideas and has an atypical approach to commitment, far from Pinterest and Martha Stewart. With “booze, burlesque and giveaways,” the hip venue is styled to have a party atmosphere all while offering creative, non-traditional ways to say “I do.” Guests can grab an adult beverage and talk to vendors, check out cool venues, and get on their way to planning an event that can be uniquely theirs.
