Sarah Caples and I spent an afternoon with Dustin Nelson and Erica Nelson-Sheehan, the owners of jewelry boutique Hitchcock Madrona for this month’s Style Fold. We sat on their tufted leather couch and talked about their history in the business after getting a walkthrough of the shop, whose minimalist displays are laden with statement pieces: earrings, cuffs, necklaces, scarves and handbags. From the front window displays to the back room—which was a frenzy of holiday orders being fulfilled and littered with props for their online catalog—every piece was desirable.

Nelson and Nelson-Sheehan are cousins and have owned and operated Hitchcock Madrona for the last ten years. Both raised in the Seattle area, they have a sincere passion for this city and provide a high-end but approachable experience that can be hard to find. Together, they design the Hitchcock Madrona Private Collection of cuffs, necklaces and rings, presented alongside an extensive and beautiful selection of accessories from around the world.

Get to know the pair a little more and see images from the shop in the slideshow below.

Hitchcock Madrona is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Located at 1422 34th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122.
