Local clothing line Prairie Underground is hosting their end of the year sample sale at their Georgetown warehouse this weekend, Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6. The line specializes in casual, comfortable clothes, ethically produced. You can read more about their mission and their artist collaborations in our article on their tenth anniversary earlier this year.

From PrU:

Our Sample Sale offers past season samples and factory seconds at 50-85% off retail prices.  Hundreds of jackets, hoodies, sweatshirts, tunics and leggings, including items never produced for retail.

It’s a unique time to experiment with new styles, try on items in person or buy a hoodie you couldn’t afford otherwise.

20% of the sale proceeds will be donated to local non-profit organizations that focus on women and children’s health, childhood development and art.

We are excited to host you in our workshop and the entire Prairie Underground team will be there.  Stop by and tell us what you love, what could use more attention or what you dreamt about the evening prior.

At previous events we’ve met circus performers, lawyers, curators, teachers, activists, writers, and creatives of all disciplines. We can’t wait to meet you this winter!

Fresh stock is added each day and there is free parking on the street. See more on the website:
