Pop-In@Nordstrom X Opening Ceremony

Winding up for the holidays, Nordstrom offers the latest in their Pop-In Shop series: Pop-In@Nordstrom X Opening Ceremony. This Pop-In features the iconic NYC-based fashion company, which holds a special place in the heart of Nordstrom Director of Creative Projects Olivia Kim. She had been Opening Ceremony’s buyer alongside founders Carol Lim and Humberto Leon since around the time of the company’s inception in 2002. This label is a cult favorite among the avant-garde of fashion.

The Pop-In Shop has apparel and accessories for men and women, featuring pieces from Opening Ceremony’s Resort 2016 Collection, inspired by the suburbs and dog show culture. That includes a reversible faux-fur coat, a suede leopard-pattered zip-front mini skirt, a laser-cut faux leather tunic and classic varsity jackets. Alongside the Opening Ceremony collection are a few OC styles and collaborations that are only available at Pop-In@Nordstrom and the special Pop-In inside the Opening Ceremony LA location. Opening Ceremony designed classic striped tees, knit gloves and hats, dog-motif key chains and small bags, and tiny leather varsity jacket key chains.

The team at OC also partnered with brands Harding Lane for exclusive quirky needlepoint baseball hats, Alpha Industries for custom reversible bomber jackets in fun color combinations, and crystal embellished classic slippers from Minnetonka. Gifts and accessories round out the shop, including charming Venessa Arizaga jewelry, Isaac Nichols pottery and Alix bodysuits . On November 25 the store will refresh the Pop-In with additional new products just in time for the holiday season.
