On Friday November 6, the Seattle Art Museum will throw their quarterly SAM Remix Party, returning to the indoor warmth of the SAM Downtown venue after going al fresco for summer in the sculpture park. The Seattle Art Museum just opened their newest exhibit, Intimate Impressionism from the National Gallery of Art which attendees can peruse while enjoying the party. The exhibit runs through January 10, 2016.

Like every SAM Remix, the night will have abundant interactive events, performances and special appearances from Seattle’s eclectic art community. Names like Janet Fagan, Romson Bustillo and Talia Silveri Wright will be in attendance conducting art activities to cultivate your creativity. Performances will include live music from the young, international fellows of OneBeat, touring Seattle from November 4-7. Check out our blog post on OneBeat for a full scoop of their tour and the beautiful mission of this organization.

The beloved “My Favorite Things” tours will occur throughout the evening led by a range of locals active in the scene, including dancer/choreographer Jody Kuehner (Chedronna Shinatra), woman-about-town Lorrie Cardoso (Seattle Arts and Culture Events Meetup Group, Collect Seattle, CoCA), fashion historian Agnes Gawne (New York Fashion Academy), chef Thierry Rautureau (“Chef in the Hat” and Loulay and Luc Restaurants) and Michael Strangeways.

And as always, dancing will be made easy with beats by DJ Fish Boogie throughout the evening, and special drinks from a no-host bar on the ground floor. See you there!

Tickets are $12 for SAM members, $25 for Adults, and $20 for Students with ID (Event is 18+). The First 50 guests wearing head-to-toe floral patterns will get in for free.
