The finale to a perfectly orchestrated Fashion Week at The Bellevue Collection culminated with the sold-out Front Row Fashion by Vogue Show on Saturday evening. Earlier in the day Vanguard Seattle Editor-in-Chief Sarah Caples and I attended a Fashion Forecast with Front Row’s host, Cara Crowley of Vogue, with a special appearance by celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe. Zoe, dressed in a black and white print pantsuit from her latest collection and what appeared to be 8-inch platform heels, was a glamorous addition to the Fashion Forecast event.
VIP attendees of the evening show and members of the press were invited to a meet and greet photo op with Rachel Zoe prior to the cocktail reception and Front Row show. I have to say that it was the most pleasant line I have ever stood in. As it quickly moved along, we were offered flutes of Chandon champagne and tiny hors d’ouerves. While there was no time allotted for interviews or even chatting, Zoe was lovely and approachable, posing for dozens of pictures. I am not one to be starstruck, but I have to admit that I love her style and I loved meeting her in person.
The runway show was divided into seven successive categories of glorious fall fashion, such as “Endless Shades of Grey” and “Time for Tweed.” Independent Designer Runway Show 2015 Winner Phuong Minh Nguyen of Dream Dresses by PMN attended the event with her husband and showed a gown from her collection in the final set of the runway show, “After Dark.” VS Photographer Tiffany Bri was there to capture it all. Enjoy!
