I love seeing what Nordstrom has up its sleeve with their rotating Pop-In at Nordstrom shops. You never know quite what to expect when it comes to these shops within a shop, and that is what makes them so great. With Olivia Kim as their Director of Creative Projects, they really can’t go wrong. I had the pleasure of meeting Olivia Kim by chance a couple of weeks ago. I truly love her vision and creativity, plus she was completely lovely in person. This latest Pop-In, New Classics, is both on-point and ahead of the curve.

New Classics is filled with “iconic essentials”, not-so-basic basics, and classic brands that have a fresh perspective. The collection includes Woolrich wool blankets in cool patterns handpicked by Kim herself to commemorate the 185th Anniversary of WoolrichPop artist Mark Wigan, Warhol pal and co-founder of the Museum of Club Culture, customized a special run of classic Doc Marten boots with illustrations inspired by throwback club nights. Pick up a edgy fun Le Sport Sac x Peanuts Bag, with imprints of Snoopy in black on black, or the mother of all down coats, the Canada Goose, with a funky colored fur collar. I am especially fond of the noodoll Artist Pads and Gadget Holders, the handbags from Doc Marten, and the Eugenie Kim Beanies. Whether you need a gift or a wardrobe recharge, this Pop-In will pull you right in.

Nordstrom Pop-In New Classics can be found in select Nordstrom stores, including Nordstrom flagship downtown (500 Pine St). You can also browse and shop from the collection online.
