Don’t mourn the end of summer quite yet. One of the best things about August is the fantastic summer sales where you can score pieces you have been stalking over the season. Lucky for you—and me—one of my favorite local labels, SCHAI, is having a Pop-Up Summer Sale, hosted by Trillium Custom Tailoring & Design Boutique in Bellevue. The sale begins Thursday, August 20, 2015 6-9 PM with cocktails and small bites, then will continue Friday and Saturday, August 21 and 22, from 10 AM to 8 PM.

About the collection
SCHAI is a locally designed luxury women’s wear brand that is available online and at Baby & Company in Seattle. A veteran of the industry, designer Suk Chai offers private collection showings at her design studio/showroom, but for this event, the collection will be available at special sale prices, ranging from 30 to 70 percent off the Spring/Summer 2015 Collection. The collection for this season was inspired by her childhood memories of fishing with her father in Alaska. The designs invoke the strength and fluidity of water, the feel and sounds of the ocean through the fabrics and designs. SCHAI is dedicated to beautifully made quality in each of their designs with finely milled Italian textiles, sensual silks and luxe vegetable-dyed leathers. Suk Chai takes her designs to a New York City-based manufacturer, where elegantly modern shapes and cutting-edge architectural lines create her timeless cool pieces. This Pop-Up is a great opportunity to check out these coveted looks at a fraction of the original prices.
