After a four year hiatus, Seattle Fashion Week is returning! Beginning on June 11, the events “aim to connect fashion designers with fashion buyers across the northwest and the country and to raise the visibility of our fashion industry in Seattle.” Seattle Fashion Week spans four nights and one day, showcasing both established and emerging designers. Tickets can be purchased per event or in an event package.

May 29, 2015: Eastside Preview Party

8:00 PM @ Lucky Strike Bellevue (700 Bellevue Way NE Suite 250)

June 11, 2015: Ready to Wear, Day One

June 12, 2015: Ready to Wear, Day Two

June 13, 2015: Chance Fashion 6-Year Anniversary Fashion Show

1:00 PM @ Emerald City Trapeze Arts  (2702 6th Ave S)

Chance Fashion is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to providing resources and opportunities to fashion artists of all levels and has produced runway shows featuring independent designers each month for the last 6 years. This shows features a diverse variety of Northwest Designers in celebration of the organizations 6-Year Anniversary. Buy tickets online.

June 14, 2015: Finale! Custom Designers

Claire Reiner
Claire Reiner is a writer, artist and recent graduate from the University of Washington’s School of Art with a major in Art History. She is interested in recent art movements and subcultures (1950s, 60s, 70s) and how they have shaped present perceptions and practices of art. She grew up in Southern California and moved to Seattle in 2010. She is quite influenced by the unique geography of both places and enjoys hiking and exploring the Pacific Northwest. Reiner covers visual art exhibits in Seattle and seeks to contribute to a profound and positive artistic community, as well as encourage people to come out and experience art moments for themselves. Reiner is also the Executive Assistant for VanguardSeattle and handles any press related needs.
