Registration for summer art classes for kids and teens at Gage Academy of Art is now open! Offering eight weeks of creative programming for young artists at every skill level, Gage’s camps for kids and teens are led by a dedicated team of teaching artists and professionals in drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, movement and dance. These classes are an excellent way to inspire and engage young artists to challenge themselves to reach new artistic heights while making new friends in a fun and supportive environment.

For kids, ages six to eleven, each week-long program features an art session and a movement/dance session that pairs unlikely partners such as Comic Arts and Bollywood Dance, Cut Paper and Electronic Music and Moves. For teens, ages twelve to eighteen, Gage offers more intensive programming with workshops that last up to two weeks in addition to their annual five-week Portfolio Intensive, co-taught by Ryan Finnerty and Jethaniel Peterka.

Gage’s summer camps will ignite the imaginations of young artists during the summer months through traditional and contemporary techniques. All summer programs include an Art Show and Performance on the final day, open to the whole family. Gage also offers youth scholarships based on financial need and availability.
